I failed to mention, in Saturday’s email that went out, about the upcoming solar eclipse.
Since this will be a “once in a lifetime” even for most of the students, we wanted to be sure to participate. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty of God’s creation as well as the order in God’s creation.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” Psalm 19:1
At 2:00 PM on Monday afternoon, the Kindergarten through high school students will gather in the main auditorium. We will watch a video which will explain the solar eclipse. We will then gather in the parking lot to watch the solar eclipse. SCBA has purchased solar eclipse glasses for all of the students to wear.
Parents, if you would like to join us for this event, you are more than welcome to do so. We would simply ask that you abide by our dress guidelines. Ladies, please wear a knee-length skirt and blouse or a knee-length skirt. Men, please wear a nice pair of pants and a nice shirt. We appreciate your cooperation with this. – Pastor Campbell
