This morning, I had the opportunity to greet our students and parents as they dropped their children off for the start of the school day. It was a pleasure greeting each of you. Everyone – including the students – seemed to be smiling this morning. Maybe that was because it’s FRIDAY! – Pastor Campbell

We would love to invite everyone, whether you have a graduating senior in your family or not, to attend this event. The cost is $10 per person which includes a delicious meal. This year’s event will be held at the Regal Manor Clubhouse in Regent Park. You may purchase tickets by contacting the Academy office at (704) 544-7323.
Just a reminder that the 2017 SCBA Spirit Week begins on Monday, March 20. You can find additional information by clicking here. We want to encourage everyone to participate in this enjoyable week!
Enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year is well underway! If you have not already done so, we want to encourage you to re-enroll your student for next year. Re-enrollment is accomplished via ParentsWeb. If you are not able to access your ParentsWeb account, please contact the Academy office for assistance. Officially, we had an enrollment of 96 students this year. We have 63 students already enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year. Please pray with us that God would give us a “full enrollment” for next year.
Our junior and senior high will begin taking their nine-weeks exams next Monday. Please ensure that your students get adequate rest this weekend and spend time in preparation for those exams. Mid-term report cards will be sent out on the Friday of Spirit Week!
There has been a lot of sickness going around. We have had a number of students that have missed several days recently because of it. We have also had a number of staff members that have been sick also. (Mr. Rideout has been out of the office the past two days because of being sick!) Please ensure that your students are getting plenty of rest, washing their hands frequently, and eating well. Also, take the entire family outside when it is nice to enjoy the sunshine and get some fresh air!
