An Eye for the World

In Matthew 28:19-20, Christ instructed His disciples…

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Then, in Acts 1:8, Christ said…

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

South Charlotte Baptist Church, in an effort to be obedient to the Great Commission, supports a number of missionaries who are serving in different places around the world seeking to share the Gospel message in “the regions beyond.”

It is our desire that the students of South Charlotte Baptist Church would also develop an “eye for the world” and a burden for the world. To encourage that, each of our classes have adopted a missionary that they will learn about and correspond with throughout the course of the school year.

Here is a list of the missionaries that have been adopted:

As we (South Charlotte Baptist Church) receive updates from the various missionaries that we support, we post them on our mission’s website. You are encouraged to follow along with our missionaries. Please click the links to learn more about these individuals and their families. Also, many of these missionaries have a presence on Facebook. We would encourage you to “look them up” and follow them as they serve the Lord around the world!
