The South Charlotte Baptist Academy Preschool is more than just a daycare service. Your child will enjoy learning in a safe, loving environment as he or she works and plays with others. We use the A Beka Book preschool curriculum, which is designed to start your child on the track with learning skills that will continue to be important throughout his or her education.
For the 3 year-old preschool, instruction is given in Bible, Phonics, Numbers, and other academic areas. In addition, there are Art and craft projects and many other age-appropriate activities. There is ample play and recess time.
For the 4 year-old preschool, instruction also emphasizes Bible and Phonics with more development in blends and one and two vowel word construction. Students may begin reading simple books. Number concepts are continued. Some Science and other academic skills, such as cursive writing, are introduced.
Weekly chapel services provide students with a time of spiritual refreshment through singing hymns and gospel songs and the preaching and teaching of God’s Word.

Admission to the Preschool Program:
- Completion of the Application for Student Admission
- Interview with administration by parent(s) and/or legal guardian.
- Child must meet age requirement* and be fully potty trained prior to first day of school.
- Registration Fee paid
- Completion and Submission of Financial Payments and/or Agreements:
- Payment Schedule signed by parent and administration
- First Payment paid as agreed upon on Payment Schedule
- FACTS Contract signed (if not paying in full)
- Completion and Submission of Office Forms:
- Student Application
- Immunization records in compliance with NC requirements
- Notarized Emergency Medical Release
- Parental agreement of cooperation
- Authorized pick up list
*Early 3 year-old program: 3 by December 31
3 year-old program: 3 by October 31
4 year-old program: 3 by October 31
