Junior and Senior High School Admissions

High School Math

At SCBA the seventh and eighth grades are taught as a traditional class utilizing several different teachers who teach in their subject area.  The A Beka Book Curriculum is followed in all subject areas.

For  the ninth through twelfth grades, instruction is presented in the A Beka DVD format. Each class is taught by a teacher who holds a master’s degree in his subject matter. The teachers are presenting material in a classroom at Pensacola Christian Academy and are videotaped with the DVD student clearly a part of the class. A proctor teacher of South Charlotte Baptist Academy maintains classroom decorum and monitors student activity to ensure a quality education in every subject.

Enrollment in these classes is somewhat restricted to ensure success and maintain the high Christian ideals set forth by the pastor and administration. Each year builds on the previous year’s material to develop a solid college preparatory platform for the student.

High School Science at South Charlotte Baptist AcademySmaller class size also means that our faculty and staff can focus on more than just instruction. During the adolescent years your child is forming his or her own world-view and philosophy that will likely guide him through the rest of his life. South Charlotte Baptist Academy places strong emphasis on the character development and spiritual growth  of our students.

Students attend regular chapel services where they are encouraged in their Christian walk and challenged to greater service for the Lord. There are also opportunities to participate in music programs and other special activities, giving your child a well-rounded Christian School experience.
